What is NOURISH MOTHER™?
Nourish Mother is a premium maternal meal service delivering fresh, fully prepared meals for pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and preconception. Every meal is built on superior quality ingredients, intentional nutrition, and the belief that what a mother eats at the most defining moment of her life should reflect the level of care she deserves.
Who are your meals designed for?
Our meals are designed for women in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and Trimester Zero (preconception). Whether you are growing a baby, healing after birth, or preparing your body for pregnancy, Nourish Mother was built for this moment.
What makes NOURISH MOTHER™ different from other meal services?
We are not a meal kit, a diet brand, or a generic wellness company. We are a maternal nourishment standard. Every ingredient, portion size, and sourcing decision is made specifically to support a mother’s body — not a general population, not a trending nutritional framework. Our meals are seed-oil safe, protein-forward, and formulated around what maternal nutrition actually requires.
What does seed oil safe mean?
We only use premium oils that are expeller or cold pressed, with no chemical extraction, and that are not refined, bleached, or deodorized. We never use canola, corn, cottonseed, grapeseed, palm, peanut, soybean, or vegetable oils. Approved oils include avocado, coconut, extra virgin olive oil, high-oleic safflower, cold-pressed sunflower, and cold-pressed rice bran.
How much protein is in each meal?
Omnivore meals contain 20–40g of protein per meal. Plant-only meals contain 10–30g. Maternal protein requirements are elevated throughout pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and lactation — typically 75–110g per day depending on stage — and our meals are built around that standard.
How many calories are in each meal?
Most entrées range from 400–700 calories, designed to help mothers distribute energy appropriately throughout the day. Calorie needs shift by stage: pregnancy requires up to 2,600 calories daily, postpartum recovery 2,000–2,400, and lactation up to 2,800. Our meals are calibrated to support — not restrict — those needs.
Are these meals appropriate during pregnancy? Is it safe to eat this way?
Yes. Our meals are formulated around guidance from ACOG and the Dietary Reference Intakes (National Academies). Pregnancy is not a time to restrict. Our meals are calibrated with balanced macronutrients specifically to support the physiological changes happening in a mother’s body.
Do you offer plant-based options?
Yes. Both omnivore and plant-only options are available across all bundles and the à la carte menu.
How do I order?
Meals are available in bundles of 6, 10, or 12. You can choose a curated bundle designed for pregnancy or postpartum, or select your own meals from our weekly menu and filter by allergy or preference. No subscription is required. Menus are updated weekly.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to Manhattan & Brooklyn.
Do you work with practitioners?
Yes. We collaborate with OB-GYNs, doulas, lactation consultants, maternal nutritionists, IBCLCs, and prenatal wellness practitioners. Collaboration opportunities include meal sharing for feedback, educational conversations around maternal nutrition, and supporting their clients with convenient, quality nourishment. Is this a diet program?
No. Nourish Mother is not a diet brand, a macro tracker, or a clinical meal replacement program. We intentionally avoid diet frameworks. Our meals are designed to nourish — to alleviate diet guilt, carb fear, and weight anxiety while supporting a mother’s body through one of the most physically demanding periods of her life.
